Family Vacation

Our family has been wanting to do a family vacation for a while. We had a family cruise planned and the week we were supposed to go on it, it was canceled because of Covid. We had rescheduled it many times but eventually cancelled it because of Covid. We instead decided to do a stay-cation. We go tickets to Disneyland. I don’t want to sound cheesy but it was a very magical day. Our kids were very well behaved. We went on all the rides we wanted to go on. We stayed till it was dark. They did not have fireworks but they had a projection show on the castle that we watched.

When we first got to Disneyland, I wanted to take a family picture in front of the Michy Mouse pumpkin. I love Disneyland during Halloween time. The decorations are so fun and festive.

Our family always heads to the back of Disneyland first because it is less crowded. We always go on Splash Mountain, Haunted Mansion and Pirates of the Caribbean. It was a little cold and fogy that day and we went straight on Splash Mountain first. My husband and son were sitting in the front. They go soaked. It was funny. We luckily had a jack to put on my son to keep him warm. It got warmer as the day went on. It was a wonderful first ride to go on.

One on One Time with the Boys

We try and do mini dates with our boys every Saturday. One month my husband takes each of the boys out separately and then I do the same thing the next month with each boy. That way they have a little one on one time with their parents. It has been a lot of fun doing this. We love creating good memories with our children.

My mini date with Ark was going to a mud run. We did this with my extended family. It was so much fun. I tried to push him in the mud many times. He tossed mud at me, and we ran together trying to go to the next obstacle course in the run. This is something I would love to do next year with him.

I took Odin to this place on our mommy son date called Discovery Cube. It's a very fun place with lots of fun science projects. It has lots of fun kid friendly interactive for kids.

We have been trying to get Kaladin comfortable in the water. On our mom date I took him to a kid friendly place in Huntington Beach It has boats all around it, which was very fun to see them go in and out of the harbor. He loved playing in the inflatable raft.
